Theme: EVERY JERICHO MUST FALL BEFORE ME .
Text: Joshua 6:1-24, Zechariah 4:6-7, Matthew 17:14-21.
EXHORTATION
All glory to God Almighty for giving us victory always, in every area of our lives. We give thanks to our heavenly father for His mercies that never cease and for the greatness of His faithfulness. Praise ye the LORD! Alleluiyah!.
Last month, we were directed by the Holy Spirit to explore the grace of God in prayer, our Prophetic Prayer Theme being "GRACE". We appreciate the grace of God throughout the past months for the countless blessings we have received. Not only that, but also for all that has been prepared for us in Christ Jesus, now and forevermore We are what we are, who we are and where we are, all by His grace. Amen.
This month, by the grace of God and the intuition of the Holy Spirit, our prayer theme is "EVERY JERICHO MUST FALL BEFORE ME". This is both a confession and a declaration of faith. Jericho is a symbol of stubborn hindrances and barriers. It is a symbol of all that contend with our aspirations, plans and purpose. It is a symbol of mountainous challenges that defy human efforts. Indeed, it is a symbol of problems, troubles or barriers that challenge our faith. It is a constraining force, like the Pharaoh preventing the Israelites from moving forward; even when they made an attempt, he gathered his chariots and chased them to catch up with them, at the same time the Red Sea stood on every side to stop them. Nevertheless, the LORD parted the Red Sea and they marched on dry ground into victory, but their enemies drowned right there. What a mighty God we serve! -Exodus 14:14-31. The real Jericho later confronted them but miraculously, by the mighty hands of God, it fell flat before them! Alleluiyah! -Joshua 6:1-24.
Whenever the children of Israel faced any challenges, they always cried unto God for help; and He would deliver them. He would give them specific instructions which, when followed in obedience, they would gain victory over their enemies. When faced with Jericho, it didn’t seem scientifically sensible nor plausible to take over such a fortified city by walking round and blowing horns, according to God's instruction to Joshua (their leader). It was a test of their faith, obedience and courage (Matthew 17:20-21). Even though it didn’t make sense, the children of Israel followed through, looking unto God (not the hefty wall, and not the human stature/status of their leader) and eventually got their miraculous victory! Alleluiyah!
In the same way, as we journey through this month, the Holy Spirit shall lead us in the paths of God's will (through His servants). As we remain attentive to Him, walking in faith and obedience, every Jericho before us shall fall flat. Our victories shall know no bounds and our prayers shall translate into testimonies to the glory of God, in Jesus' Mighty Name (Amen)!
Remember, with Jesus Christ, our Jericho must fall flat and our Victory is Sure!
PROPHETIC PRAYER POINTS.
1. Give thanks to God Who has been fighting our battles, known and unknown, seen and unseen. -Exodus 14:13-14.
2. Give thanks to God for always making us triumph over all situations. -2Corinth 2:14.
3. Pray for forgiveness and mercy. -Psalms 66:18, Romans 9:15-16.
4. Pray for grace to enjoy the fruits of your labour this year and years ahead. -
5. Divine help, locate me in every area of my life, in Jesus' Name. -Psalms 70:1, Psalm 121:1.
6. Every satanic agent contracted to pursue my soul, be confounded and ashamed, in Jesus' Name. -Psalms 70:1-2.
7. Almighty Father, establish me in all my goals and pursuits, in Jesus' Name. -Isaiah 54:13-14.
8. By the grace of God Almighty, my children and I are far from (every form of) oppressions, in Jesus' Name. -Isaiah 54:13-14.
9. My Father and my God, establish and settle me in my pursuits, in Jesus' Name. -1Peter 5:10.
10. Mighty Father, grant me wisdom to identify my Jericho walls and revelation on how to conquer them, in Jesus' Name. -Joshua 6:1-5.
11. Holy Spirit of God, grant me the grace for faith, obedience and courage to conquer my Jericho, in Jesus' Name. - Zechariah 4:6-7, Joshua 6:10-15, 20, Matthew 17:20-21.
12. Every generational curse standing as a Jericho wall before me, disappear in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. -Galatians 3:13.
13. Every mountain hindering my progress, become plain, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. -Zechariah 4:6-7
14. Every great mountain, hindering great achievements in my life, I triumph over you by grace, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. -Zechariah 4:6-7.
15. Heavenly Father, every crooked ways slowing down my speed to breakthrough, make them straight before me, in Jesus' Name. -Isaiah 45:2.
16. Gates of brass and bars of iron, blocking my entrance into breakthrough, be shattered into pieces, in Jesus' Name. -Isaiah 45:2-3.
17. Every Jericho preventing me from accessing spiritual wealth, fall flat, in Jesus' Name. -Isaiah 45:2-3, Joshua 6:20.
18. Every Jericho preventing me from accessing material financial and material wealth, fall flat, in Jesus' Name. -Isaiah 45:2-3, Joshua 6:20.
19. Every Jericho preventing me from accessing sound health and long life, fall flat, in Jesus' Name. -Isaiah 45:2-3, Joshua 6:20.
20. Every Jericho of difficulty and suffering, making me to labour in vain, clear out of the way, in Jesus' Name. -Zechariah 4:6-7.
21. Wherever I have been bound, I receive my deliverance now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. -Obadiah 1:17.
22. Wherever my blessings have been bound, be released now, in Jesus' Name. -Obadiah 1:17.
23. I possess every ground the LORD has ordained for me, in Jesus' Name. -Joshua 1:3, 6:1-2, 20, 1Corinthians2:9.
24. Give thanks to God for answered prayers. -Isaiah 65:24, 1John 5:14.
