THEME: “…AND I WILL SAVE THY CHILDREN”
Text: Isa.49:24-26, Isa.61:10, Luke2:40-52, Palm103: 1-5, 2Cor.5:17
As always, God's prophetic declaration to us this month
is the re-echoing of His unfailing promise to fight for our children and save them from every
manipulation of the enemy. And we know that His Words and promises are
"yea and in Him, AMEN unto the glory of God..." - 2Cor.1:20. However, this prayer is not restricted to our children alone; it concerns all of us, in one way or the other. The salvation of the LORD in all dimensions is sure for us as we key into this declaration, in Jesus' name.
(a) Praise God for His salvation- Psa.103:1-4, 5, Isa.61:10.
The prophecy from God to us this
year concerning our children says “ And
I will save your children”-Isa.49:25. First, we have to praise God with thanksgiving
and appreciation in our hearts, for His goodness and mercy that endures forever
in our lives, in the lives of our children and our entire family. Glory to God
Who always says “I will greatly rejoice
in the lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the
garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a
bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with
her jewels.”
If God would mark iniquity, who can
stand? Psa.130:3. And if God had permitted the devil over our lives,
where would we have been? Psa.124:1-8. We have simply found grace in God's
sight; He has clothed us with the garment of salvation and His robe of
righteousness is upon us. isa.61:10. while we were sinners, Christ died to
saved us; we were justified. as though we never sinned. not only that; He also
gives us access to His unlimited reservoir of diverse benefits. That's why we
have to rejoice before Him, giving glory and honour to His holy name. The Psalmist
appreciated this truth when he recounted the goodness of God in Psa.103:1-5
“bless the lord o my soul and all that is within me, bless his holy name…who
forgiveth all thine iniquities and healeth all thy diseases…who redeemeth thy
life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender
mercies…” we have to show forth the praises of him who delivered us from
darkness into his marvelous light. 1pet.2:9.
Our salvation in God, through the
attorney blood of Jesus christ, is the greatest gift to mankind. a man's
salvation is an open-door/access to the unlimited reserve in god's kingdom. it
is a sure passport to enter into the supernatural. 2cor.5:17 says "if any
man is in Christ, he is a new creature, old things. Man's salvation is an
insurance against every satanic agenda in his life. Your salvation is your
eternal security in God.
(b) “…And I will save
thy children”-
Isaiah 49:25.
What does the word salvation
(or to save) mean?
In Hebrew
tongue, the word (y-sh-ah, meaning salvation)
simply means, “to save or to rescue.” moses and the Israelites experienced
this at the red sea. (exod.14:1-31, 15:1-5). y-sh-ah
for the Lord your God is He that goeth with you, to fight for you
against your enemies, to save you. (Deuteronomy
20:4).
In the Greek Language, the
same word salvation is written as soteria, soter, or sozo- all meaning “to save from all kinds of peril in
life”. this Greek translation means, to deliver, to set free, to redeem, to
restore, to make whole, to keep whole, to make or keep safe and sound, to make
complete, and to heal. it is the very essence of christ’s ‘blood sacrifice’ on
the cross for our total deliverance from sin and all its repercussion.
(isa.53:5, gal.3:13, 1jn3:8). it is the one paul the apostle spoke about in
2cor.5:17 “if any man be in christ, he is
a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new”.
to summarize all these, the word salvation simply
means saving a soul from sin and from the consequences of sin. it is all-round
redemption & deliverance.
So, when God said “…and I will save thy children,” from the Greek translation, it simply means, I will save
your children from all kinds of peril in life”. I will deliver your children, I
will set your children free, I will redeem your children, I will restore your
children, I will make them whole, I will keep them safe and sound, I will
perfect and make them complete, and I will heal your children…
We therefore need to key into this
grace & pray according to God’s declaration for this hour. receive it for
your children, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ ! All
these are exemplified in our main text, Isaiah 49:24-26, which says: "shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful
captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, even
the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible
shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and
I will save thy children."
"and I will feed them that
oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own
blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that i the lord am thy
savior and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."
Our main text is digging into the
root / foundation of every child. There are cases where a child’s destiny may
have been taken captive because of curses in the parental/family lineage; this
is how they become “lawful captive”. The
Lord says that even if your child has been lawfully taken captive by such
curses or if they have become “a prey” to forces of darkness, he will deliver
and will save your children. and I will save thy children."
The Lord says He will contend with
those forces that oppress your children’s glory and destiny. The Lord says every
flesh eater and blood sucking demon or devil incarnate contracted against your
children “shall eat their own flesh and be drunken with their own blood. The Almighty says He will redeem
destinies/glories that have been tampered with; He will surely revive &
redeem glories that have been slaughtered on the altars of evil.
Let Us Pray
1.
Give thanks to god for his enduring
goodness and mercy over your life & entire family. Psa.136:1-26.
2.
Blessed the Almighty God, Who daily
bears our burdens and daily loads us with benefits. Psa.68:19.
3. Glorify the God of our salvation,
Who has always made us triumph in Christ Jesus. 2Cor.2:14.
4.
Pray that his mercy will continue to speak for you, your children &
entire family, IJN. Rom.9:15-16.
5. Exalt the name of the Lord for His
salvation in your life and family. Rejoice and sing praises to the God of our
salvation. Psa.103:1-5.
6. Mighty Father, save my children from the evil agenda of known and unknown enemies, in Jesus' name. Isaiah 49:24-26, Psalm 124 & 125.
7. LORD, clothe my children (mention
their names) with your garment of salvation against satanic forces that
have been sent to attack their salvation, in Jesus' name.
8. Heavenly Father, deliver my
children (mention their names) from glory eaters and destiny destroyers, in Jesus'
name.
9. Father, make thy garment of
salvation a wall of defense over my children and their destiny, in Jesus' name.
Isa.49:25-26.
10. Garment of salvation from the Lord,
secure the future of my children, in Jesus' name.
11. Flesh eaters and blood drinkers
contracted against my children (and family), die by fire, IJN- Heb.12:29, Psa.97:3.
12. Mighty Father, wherever my
children have become “lawful captives” (isa.49:24-
25), I command their deliverance now
in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
13. My children will not become
slaves in their destiny journey; they will not become prey to forces of
darkness, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Isa.49:24-25.
14. Every flesh eater and blood
drinker, waiting for me and my children at the point of breakthrough, I command: eat your own flesh
and drink your own blood, NOW in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Isa.49:25-26.
15. Jesus my Great Redeemer, redeem
the destinies/glories of my children that have been tampered with; revive &
redeem glories that have been slaughtered on the altars of evil, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Isa.49:25-26.
16. Every destroyer, every contender
and accuser, sent to destroy the purpose of God in the lives of my children, I announce
your defeat NOW; you shall not succeed over my children, in Jesus’ name. Isa.49:25.
isa.54:17.
17. Garment of salvation from the lord, fall
on me: beautify my life, beautify my marriage, my business, my children &
entire family, in the name of Jesus Christ. Isa.61:10.
18. I plead the blood of Jesus, over
my children, over my life, & entire family, IJN.
19. Heavenly Father, separate my
children from satanic agents and destroyers of glory that camouflage as
friends, in the name of Jesus Christ.
20. "And the child grew, and
waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon
him." Luke 2:40, 52. Grace and wisdom for supernatural exploits, fall
upon my children for exploits in every area of their lives, in the mighty name
of Jesus Christ.
*Note: Parents should also add this to their prayer this month,
I Shall Eat The Fruits of My Labour
As we earnestly pray for our children this month and this year, we are also praying for ourselves directly or indirectly, for we are all children of the Most High God- Gal.3:26. And God will save us from every evil scheming and agenda of the enemy, in Jesus' name. His salvation extends to every area of our lives, "...old things pass away and ALL THINGS become new"- 2Cor.5:17. Whether in the work of the Lord or in our secular work/business, the Lord has promised to bless the work of our hands; He has given us the power to eat the fruits of our labour. That power is activated upon our lives right now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.!
Jeremiah 31:16a says “Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for
your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD”. God shall reward your labour. And you will eat the fruits of your
labour. Boaz said to Ruth, “The LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the
LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge” (Ruth 2:12). God is not unjust to forget your work and
labor of love which you have shown toward His name (Hebrews 6:10). In our lives and in the lives of our children, God
will bless us on earth for our labour and we shall eat the fruits of our labour, but the REAL REWARD is in eternity.
You and I will not miss our eternal reward in Jesus’ name.
Paul's letter by the Spirit of God to the Roman church, enjoins "Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit;
serving the Lord". Rom.12:11. As you continue to be diligent in the work of the Lord and in the work of your hands, Power to eat the fruits of your labour, beyond your personal strength, the LORD bestows on you, in Jesus' name.
We shall be combining these portions of the scriptures in our prayers, as parents and parents-to-be:
(i) Deut.28:1-13
1“And
it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of
the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I
command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high
above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings
shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of
the Lord thy God. 3 Blessed shalt thou be in
the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. 4 Blessed
shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of
thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 5 Blessed
shall be thy basket and thy store..."
(ii) Isaiah 65:22-24
22 “They
shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat:
for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long
enjoy the work of their hands. 23 They
shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of
the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring [or children] with them. 24 And it shall come
to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking,
I will hear".
Let us continue in the mood of prayer
21. As a child of the Living God, by His special grace, I shall eat the fruits of my labour, in anything I lay my hands upon to the glory of God, in Jesus' name. Isaiah 65:22-24, Psalm 128:1-6, Isaiah 45:19, 2Tim.2:6.
22. As a child of the Living God, I receive grace from the LORD for long life, sound health and power, to enjoy the fruits of my labour, in Jesus' name. Psalm 128:1-6, 2Chron.15:7, Deut.8:18.
23. Every destroyer, every contender and accuser, sent to destroy the purpose of God in my life, I announce your defeat NOW ! You shall not succeed over my life, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Isa.49:25, Isa.65:22-24.
24. Every seed/child that comes (and shall come) out of my body, shall be fruitful; and I shall eat the fruits of my labour in their lives, in Jesus' name. Deut.28:1-5, Isaiah 65:22-24.
25. Heavenly Father, my labour over my children shall not be in vain, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Deut.28:1-5, Isaiah 65:22-24, Psa.128:1-6.
26.Thank God for answering your prayers; let us sing praises to Him from the depth of our heart and give glory to the God of our Salvation for always making us to triumph in Christ Jesus - 2Cor.2:14.
