PRAYER GUIDE FOR THE MONTH OF JULY (Starting, Thursday, 1st of July ) 2021.

 Theme: I SHALL NOT BE BARREN

 Text: Luke1:36-42, Psalm92:12-15,  Psalm1:1-3, Psalm65:9-13, Psalm67:4-7.

Glory be to Almighty God Who has continued to make us triumph in Christ Jesus- 2Cor.2:14. He has continued to sustain and support us on every side, to the glory of His exalted name. Praise ye the LORD! Alleluiyah! Having experienced the Divine Visitation of God all through the past months, as a nation and as individuals, the Lord has been giving us testimonies in different dimensions and to the honour of His unfailing Word. (Psalm 138:1-2, Isa.55:11). He had asked us to pray for DIVINE VISITATION, because He is ever ready to visit us; it was His mind for us this season. Our testimonies are undeniable and permanent in Jesus' name.

This month of July, the Word of the LORD to us is a personal confession, which says: I SHALL NOT BE BARREN. Because the Almighty God has visited His people, We shall not, and cannot be barren; anytime and anywhere He visits His people, they always experience supernatural turnaround. During His divine visitation, unctions are released for fruitfulness and diverse testimonies. 

After God's visitation came upon His people in the scriptures, they had a  definite touch of the supernatural and indeed, definite testimonies. Abraham and Sarah became fruitful after the visitation of God through His angels and so were Elizabeth and Zechariah. The children of Israel had divine visitation, which led to their deliverance from the land of bondage. In this season of divine visitation, even as we pray together this month, unction for all-round fruitfulness, all-round breakthrough and supernatural deliverance is released upon us, to the glory of His name, in Jesus' name. This unction is also released upon our land, our nation, for all-round fruitfulness, in Jesus' name.

Condition: The conditions for the release of this unction for fruitfulness are spelt out in the scriptures as follows: First of all, always approach God’s presence with a heart of gratitude; appreciate Him for the past, the present and the future (Psa.67:4-7, 136:1-26). Secondly, remove sin far away from you (Psa.66:18, Prov.28:13, Eccl.2:26). Thirdly, apply your faith practically in prayers and in all you lay your hands upon to do (Heb.11:1-2, 6; Luke1:36-38); believe in God’s unfailing ability; walk by faith and not by sight. In addition to all these, make sure you pay all vows that are due for payment- Psalm 65:1, Eccl.5:4-6. By His unfailing grace, you will not, and cannot be barren; you shall be fruitful in all areas of your life, in Jesus’ name ! 

Remember, with Jesus Christ on our side, Victory is Sure!

PROPHETIC PRAYER GUIDE

1. Praise the LORD for His goodness and mercy, His mighty presence, the victories and testimonies  within the church. Psalm136:1-26, 2Cor.2:14..                                                          

2. Give glory to God for all He has been doing in your favour. Thank Him for what He has prepared for you this month and this year. 1Corinth.2:9.

3. Thank God for His grace and faithfulness over His church, over your life and entire family.

4. Ask for forgiveness of known and unknown sins in every area of your life.

5. Plead also His mercy for a fruitful prayer season; ask that His enduring mercy would speak for you in all dimensions this season.

6. My LORD and my Redeemer, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, this prayer season, in Jesus’ name. Psa.19:14.

7. Blood of Jesus, erase every mark of barrenness of the past away from my life, in Jesus’ name. Col.2:14.

8. Mighty Father, Let every curse of barrenness be destroyed in my life, my marriage and business, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.  2Sam.6:14-23, Galatians3:13, Col.2:14.

9. I refuse to be barren in all that I lay my hands upon this month and this year, in Jesus’ name. Jerem.29:11, 3Jn1:2, Psa.1:1-3, 128:2.

10. Every prayer that I pray this month and this year shall prosper to the glory of God; it shall translate into fruitfulness, in Jesus’ name.  Jerem.29:11, 3Jn1:2, Psa.1:1-3, 128:2.

11. I shall not be barren spiritually, I shall not be barren in my health, I shall not be barren of fruitful ideas… in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Psa.1:1-3.

12. All the seeds that I sow this month and this year shall yield fruitful harvest …in Jesus’ name. Psa.1:1-3.

13. My labour shall not be wasted; my prayers and services shall not be wasted, in the mighty name of Jesus’ Christ.

14. Wherever I had labored in vain before now, I am going to reap fruitful harvest, in Jesus’ name.  Psalm126:5-6.

15. I shall not be barren in marriage, I shall not be barren in business, I shall not be barren in all areas of my life, in Jesus’ name.

16. I receive the grace for all-round fruitfulness, in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE [Starting, Tuesday, 1st of June] 2021]

PRAYER THEME: DIVINE VISITATION (Part 2) - Divine  Vsitation Upon Our Nation

Text:  2Chron.7:14, Psalm122:6-9, Luke 1:26-29, Psalm80:1-14, 15-19, Psalm24, 19

Glory to the mighty God we serve, for His unfailing love and kindness towards us. By and by, we have witnessed the first half of the year and God has been so good to us all the way. We all cannot deny His manifold blessing to us since the beginning of the year. Thanks be to our God Who has continued to preserve our lives in the magnanimity of His grace and love. The victories, the healings, the diverse miracles, divine protection and security- all cannot be forgotten, especially in times like this.  “ Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord” [Alleluiyah!] – Psalm 106:48.

Last month [May], the LORD charged us to prepare and pray for divine visitation in every dimension of our lives. And for those that have connected to that prophetic grace, the LORD has been visiting them in various ways to the glory of His exalted name. Testimonies abound in every branch of the ministry, individually and collectively. Our God is good and faithful to His Word.

This month, the LORD has ordained that we should continue on the path of divine visitation.  Specifically, the LORD has directed that we should pray for divine visitation upon our country [Nigeria].  This implies God’s continuous visitation upon our lives and our land. Our land has been sick in some ways. And God wants us to pray for the healing of our land. In doing this, we are indirectly praying for ourselves. “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee ” – Psalm122:6.  As we pray together this month, there shall be divine visitation upon our land for supernatural healings, in Jesus’ name. Always remember, with Jesus Christ, victory is sure!

Prophetic Prayers

1. Give thanks to God for His faithfulness in every area of your life- your family, your work and everything that concerns you.

2. Give glory to God Almighty for making us triumph over the various challenges that we have faced so far, as individuals and as a nation – 2Cor.2:14.

3. Sing praises to the honour of His exalted name for all He has done, what He is doing and what He will do- Psa.136:1-26, Rom.8:28.

4. Ask for forgiveness of the various sins committed on our lands – Sins of killings and bloodshed, sins of individuals, sins of political leaders and sins of religious leaders in Nigeria. Isa.59:1, Prov.28:13, Hosea7:1, 2Chron.7:14.

5. Pray that the mercy of God will speak for us this month and this year, that the LORD will visit us, as individuals and as a nation. Luke1:50., Rom.9:15-16.

6.  “Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us” (Luke1:78). Heavenly Father, visit our land with Your mercy, for a testimony to the glory of Your name, in the name of Jesus Christ.  

7. Almighty God, You heard the cry of the children of Israel in Egypt; hear our cry O LORD and deliver our land from satanic forces. Exod. 3:7-9.

8. By divine visitation, heal our land O LORD, from every scourge and satanic attack, in Jesus’ name. 2Chron.7:14.

9. “Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine” (Psa.80:14). Heavenly Father, visit this country with divine healing and peace that will still every trouble and turbulence, in Jesus’ name. Jn14:27.

10. Jehovah Shalom, God of Peace, let there be peace in every city, let there be peace in every home, let Your peace rule in every area of our lives, in Jesus’ name. Psalm122:6-9, Jn14:27.

11. “ Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved (Psa.80:3, 7, 19). Mighty Father, visit this country and save us from every impending doom, in Jesus’ name.

12. Almighty God, silence every evil tongue causing killings and destruction for their personal gains in Nigeria, in Jesus’ name. Isa.54:14-17

13. Every evil association and demonic groups, organized by the devil to cause killings and destruction in this nation, scatter by fire in Jesus’ name.  Isa.54:14, Heb.12:29, Psa.68:1-2, Psa.97:3.  

14. Every blood sucking demon, trying to suck people’s lives in my family and the nation at large, be consumed by fire in Jesus’ name.  Heb.12:29, Psa.97:3.

15. Mighty Father, release consuming fire upon any evil altar invoking destruction upon this nation, in Jesus’ name. Heb.12:29, Psa.97:3.

16. Every planned or accidental attack upon this nation shall fail in Jesus’ name. Isa.54:15-17

17. Heavenly Father, keep our nation far from oppression and destruction of any kind, in Jesus’ name. Isa.54: 14-17

18. Heavenly Father, save the church from oppression and destruction, save the leadership, save the followership, save our economy and all that concern our nation, in Jesus’ name. Isa.54: 14-17, Psa.91:1-16.

19. Every Blood sucking demon parading in the form of deadly virus/organisms, LORD release Thy consuming fire upon them, in Jesus name. Heb.12:29, Psa.97:3.

20. Almighty Father, deliver this country from every spirit of barrenness and release fruitfulness upon this country, in Jesus’ name. Psa.65:9-13, Luke1:11-14, 19, 25-26,  35-37

21. Heavenly Father, release Thy Angels of Good News, Supernatural Peace and all-round Fruitfulness into this country, in Jesus’ name. Luke1:11-14, 19, 25-26.

22. God of restoration, restore all the glorious treasures that this country has lost and visit us with supernatural restoration, in Jesus’ name. Joel 2:21-32.

23. O LORD, release Thy fire of revival upon our nation, for supernatural change in every dimension, in Jesus' name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR THE MONTH OF MAY [Starting, Saturday, 1st of May, 2021]

THEME: DIVINE  VISITATION

Text: Joel 2:17-32, Luke1:68-79, Jn3:31, Hosea10:12, Ruth1:1-7, Jer.27:22, 1Sam.2:19-21.

Jeremiah 27:22 "They will be carried to Babylon and they will be there until the day I visit them,’ declares the Lord. ‘Then I will bring them back and restore them to this place."

1 Samuel 2:19-21  says “¹⁹ Moreover his mother (Hannah) made him (Samuel) a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.

²⁰ And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, Uand said, The Lord give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the Lord. And they went unto their own home.

²¹ And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the Lord.

Gen.21:1-3 “The LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did to Sarah as he had spoken.  Sarah conceived, and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. Abraham called his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore to him, Isaac.”

PROPHETIC PRAYER GUIDE

PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL [Starting, Thursday, 1st of April, 2021]

PRAYER THEME: RESTORATION THROUGH CHRIST’S RESURRECTION POWER

Text: Joel 2:17-32, Ephes.2:1-16, 1Pet.2:8-10.

Jesus went through all the humiliation, the rejection, the castigation and insults which culminated in His eventual crucifixion and death. However, He did not just die but also resurrected on the 3^rd day unto eternal glory. Alleluiyah! When Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross, He restored man back to his original glorious position in God.  He Himself rose from the dead to prove His supernatural ability to restore the dead back to life. He proved by His resurrection that it does not matter how bad one’s situation is, God has indisputable ability to restore back to life.

Indeed, there is restoration in His resurrection. The manner in which Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead speaks of far greater glory than what one might have passed through or may be passing through presently. He went to the cross in the likeness of man’s flesh (which is corruptible) but resurrected in a glorious form (incorruptible), far exceeding glory than the former, earthly flesh. In the same way, it does not matter how deplorable your situation might have been, restoration will come and the power of resurrection in Christ Jesus will cause a supernatural change in every area of your life for His glory, in Jesus’ name. (Rom.8:9-15).

Christ came to restore us back to our original state of being a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, to show forth the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. He came to restore human nature back to true holiness and righteousness in God. This is man’s spiritual location and nature in God. 1Pet.2:8-10, Lk1:35   

By the grace of Almighty God, as we pray for restoration this month, His power of resurrection will answer for us in every area of our lives, in Jesus’ name (Amen).

Prophetic Prayer Points

1. Thank God for His protection and security over your life and entire family.

2. Appreciate and glorify God, for His eternal provision for the salvation of your soul, for redeeming you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

12. By the power of resurrection, I am restored back to sound health and soundness in every area of my life, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

13. By the power of resurrection, where I have fallen, I rise up to victory; where I have been reproached, I rise up to glory, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

14. Through the resurrection of Christ, my reproach is turned into glory, my sorrow is turned into joy, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

15. Through Christ’s resurrection power, every good opportunity I have lost, be restored to me, in Jesus’ name.

16. By the Power of Resurrection, my weaknesses are transformed into supernatural strength for breakthrough, in Jesus’ name.

PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH [Starting, Monday, 1st of March, 2021].

PRAYER THEME: MARCH ON, IN THE VICTORY OF CHRIST.

Text: 2Cor.2:14, Rom.8:37, 1John3:8, 4:4, Exod.14:13-15

It is neither by power nor by might that we have been victorious in all we passed through since the beginning of the year. Every month came with its own challenges but as usual, the LORD has made provision for our utmost victory. Glory, honour and thanks be to God Who always makes us triumph in Christ Jesus (2Cor 2:14). He is the essence of our existence. Without Him on the scene of every situation, we will fail and become nothing. But with Him on our side, we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. Praise ye the LORD! Alleluiyah!

The children of Israel encountered battles and opposition from their enemies. In their journey to the Promise

Land, the LORD spoke to them through Moses (their leader), to be still and “move forward” (i.e. they should march on through the Red Sea) and see the salvation of the LORD. Indeed, they marched on dry land and marched onto victory. Exod.14:13-15.

As you connect to this grace this month, I see you marching into supernatural victory, in Jesus’ name. Remember, with Jesus Christ, victory is always sure!

Prophetic Prayers

1. Exalt the name of the LORD, ‘Who always makes us triumph in Christ Jesus, in every situation.  2Cor.2:14, 1Jn4:4, Exod.15:1, 11-13.

2. Give glory to Almighty God for His all round blessings, His goodness and enduring mercy, divine protection and security. Psa.136:1-26.

3.  Praise the name of the LORD for His salvation, healing and deliverance in the midst of various challenges you have faced this year. Psa.103:1-5.

4.  Ask for the forgiveness of any form of sin that may hinder your prayers- in thoughts and in actions. Psa.19:12-14, 66:18, Heb.12:1.

5.  My Father and my God, let Your mercy speak for me and my entire family in Jesus’ Lam.3:22-24, Rom.9:14-16.

6.  In the  Victory of Christ, the church of God is marching on, from glory to glory, from victory to victory, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Matt.16:18-19.

7. I am marching into supernatural victory! Every satanic manipulations and weapon, that want to stop me from moving forward, be consumed by fire, in Jesus’ name. 2Cor.10:4-6, Psa.97:3.

8. Mighty Father, let every satanic agent, contracted against my life this year, perish by their own weapon, in Jesus’ name. Eccl.10:8-9.

9. I am marching on this year, in the victory of Christ! Heavenly Father, guide me with Thy Pillar of Fire, in the paths of safety and divine protection, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Exod.14:23-25, Psalm23:4.

10. In the victory of Christ, I march on from spiritual dryness to spiritual freshness, I march on from sickness to sound health, from weakness to strength, from little to abundance, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Joel 2:21-29, 3:10.

11. I am marching in the victory of Christ. I shall not be drowned in the water of life; I shall not be consumed in the fire of life, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Isa.43:1-2.

12. I march on, in the victory of Christ: sin shall not have dominion over me, sickness shall not have dominion over me, no weapons of the enemy shall have dominion over me, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Isa.54:17, 1John4:4, 3:8.

13. I stand in the victory of Christ and declare: Every good thing that is dead in me, awake in the mighty name of Jesus. Phil.3:10.

 14. I march on, in the victory of Christ: Whatever the enemy has stolen from me, I recover in the name of Jesus Christ; I am restored in Jesus’ name.  Joel 2:21-29.

16. I stand in the victory of Christ and declare: Every agenda of the enemy against my life, scatter by fire, in Jesus' name. Heb.12:29. 

PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY [Starting, Monday, 1st of February, 2021]

 

PRAYER THEME: POWER OF RESTORATION

Text: Psalm126:1-6, Joel 2:21-32,  Jn11:30-40, 2Kgs4:17-36.

Glory to God Almighty, Who has continued to support us on every side, with continual victory and testimonies. He is not man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent of His promises that are in Him ‘yea’ and in Him ‘Amen’. 2cor.1:20. He has given us a covenant of Restoration this year and we know that His Word that can never fail. However, there are conditions. Our repentance in humility, obedience and consecration to His service in spirit and in truth, are a necessary condition for our all-round restoration. Joel 2:12-27.

When we forgive those that wrong us, we have access to God’s mercy and forgiveness; and blessings are released to us when we pray with such a forgiving spirit. This is because when our spirit is free from all hindrances (sinful acts, anger, jealousy, unforgiveness, evil thoughts, unbelief, malice, etc), we have a connection to the throne of grace in heaven. Psa.24:1-6, Psa.66:18, Prov.28:13, Matt.6:9-15. In fact, when we truly forgive those that offend us, power for breakthrough and restoration is released to us through answered prayers.

The Power of Restoration that restored the dead son of the Shunnamite woman is still alive today. 2Kgs4:17-36. The Power of Restoration that restored the sick to sound health, and the Power that quickened Lazarus from the dead back to life is alive and active today (Matt.8:1-15, 9:20-35). John11:32-44). It was this same Power of Restoration that quickened the womb of Sarah to conceive at old age. It was this Power of Restoration that quickened dry(dead) bones (at the valley of dry bones) to come alive and become a mighty army (Ezek.37:1-14). That same Power of Restoration is alive today; it shall touch every area of your life and translate your challenges into testimonies, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ (Rom.8:11).  

This month and this year, as we pray together in unity of faith and walk with the LORD in obedience to His word, the Power of Restoration is released upon us from His presence, and shall continue to restore every area of our lives to His glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

With Jesus Christ, victory is sure!

PROPHETIC PRAYERS

2.    Give thanks to God for His goodness and mercy that endureth forever in your life and entire family. Psalm103:1-5, 136:1-26.

3.    Appreciate the Almighty God for the seen and unseen battles He has fought and won for you. Give glory to Him for fighting our battle and defeating every enemy of our soul. Psalm 34:19-20, Exod.15:11-21, Psalm136.

4.    Ask for the forgiveness of all known and unknown sins that may hinder your prayers this season. Psalm66:18.

5.    Ask for the enduring mercy of God to speak for you and your entire family this month and this year. Psalm136, Rom.9:15-16.

6.    Merciful Father, I forgive and release everyone that has wronged me directly or indirectly, in Jesus’ name. Matt.6:12-15.

7.    Power of Restoration from the LORD, come upon my life and cause supernatural revival in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name. Joel 2:25-29, Psalm51:1-12.

8.    Heavenly Father, where I have lost the joy of salvation, restore it to me, in Jesus’ name. Psalm 51:9-12.

9.    Mighty Father, where I have been weak spiritually, strengthen me by Your Spirit; where I have been weak physically, restore me (back) to sound health, in Jesus’ name. Joel 2:25-29.

14. Power of Restoration that restored the Shunnamite woman’s son back to life: every good thing that is dry and dead in me, restore back to life, in Jesus’ name. 2Kgs4:17-36.

15. Power of Restoration from the LORD, come upon every work of my hands for supernatural breakthrough, in Jesus’ name. Deut.30:9.

16. Gracious Father, by Thy Power of Restoration, every lost opportunity and relationship meant for my progress and breakthrough, I reconnect with them NOW, in Jesus' name. Psalm126:1-6.

17. The power that restored the glory of Jabez from parental curses, restore the glory of my work, my marriage, my children, my family, from known and unknown curses, in Jesus' name. 1Chron.4:9-10.

18. Power of Restoration from the LORD, coordinate every step I take this year, and everything I shall lay my hands upon for the glory of God, in Jesus’ name.   

19.  Heavenly Father, I shall not lose my salvation, I shall not lose my health, my efforts shall not be wasted, my life shall not be a wasted, my marriage, my family shall not be a waste… in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

20. Give glory to God for answered prayers. Sing praises to the honour of His majesty. 1John 5:15.

New Year Message:

Glory to God Almighty Who, in His infinite love and mercy, gave us supernatural victory in all the challenges we passed through last year (2020) as individuals, as a nation, and the world at large. Praise ye the LORD! Alleluiyah!  1John4:4, 2Cor.2:14. Last year was our year of Unending Praise and Grace. We are indeed grateful to our heavenly Father for giving us the grace to conquer our various challenges, especially the menace of the pandemic (coroner virus) that ravaged the whole world. “In all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us” (Rom.8:37). Amen!

It has been by His grace alone that we journeyed safely through these challenging “fires” and “waters” of life into the new year 2021. For everyone that connected with that prophecy (Unending Praise and Grace), God did not only assure us but fulfilled His promise that, the echoing of His praise in our mouth, Spirit, soul and body, would open up doors of GRACE for supernatural victories and testimonies. To the honour and glory of His exalted name, we were all witnesses to His faithfulness and enduring mercy in every area of our lives. Psa.138:2, Numb.23:19, 2Cor.1:20, 1Thess.5:24. I pray earnestly (for you) from the depth of my heart: By the unction and authority bestowed upon me as a mouthpiece of the Living God, I declare that all your testimonies and wonderful blessings in the year 2020 shall remain permanent in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! Amen!          

 

 Welcome To Year 2021: Our Year of RESTORATION   

 2021 is our year of RESTORATION. The Supporting Bible passage is Joel 2:21-30.

²¹ Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things. ²² Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. ²³ Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

²⁴ And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. ²⁵ And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. ²⁶ And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. ²⁷ And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. ²⁸ And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: ²⁹ And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. ³⁰ And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. ³¹ The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come. ³² And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

This is the mind of God for His children and the entire church in the year 2021. The book of Joel 2:1-30 is a clear picture of God’s enduring mercy, patience and love, in dealing with His people. The Israelites of old were God’s treasured people; they constantly enjoyed the goodness and mercy of God, even in their inconsistencies. They soon abused this grace and went into idolatry; they willingly broke God’s covenants and disobeyed Him severally. They completely forgot their Redeemer that rescued them from the land of bondage in Egypt. God’s holiness and righteousness could no longer permit this; so He sent wars (the Northern Army), pestilence and devourers into their midst. Their health, businesses and entire economy were gravely affected. The pain was so much that the people wept, fasted and groaned for His mercy once again. Nevertheless, because of His lovingkindness and enduring mercy, He hearkened to their cry again and assured them of total restoration and Spiritual Revival. Joel 2:1-21, 22-30. 

This same assurance is given to us this year and confirmed in Psalm126:1-6,

“ When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. ² Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. ³ The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. ⁴ Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south. ⁵ They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. ⁶ He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him”.

In times like this, the whole world is likened to the Israel of old; the church of Christ being now the Spiritual Israel. We had suffered the consequences of our actions as individuals, as a nation, and the world at large. And the prophetic word of God to us in the year 2021 is RESTORATION. This restoration comes with a condition. To access what God has for us in the year 2021, God demands our total repentance and mind renewal towards Him [as individuals, as a church, as a nation, and the world at large]- Joel 2:12-17, Rom.12:1-2. To access this covenant as an individual, you need no collateral, but your faith coupled with necessary actions and obedience in the direction of God’s Word. As for God, His will for us in the year 2021 is total RESTORATION. His Words are in Him ‘ye’ and ‘amen’ [2Cor.1:20].  His thought is that of good and not of evil; it is to give us an expected end [a hope and a future (Jer.29:11)]. The seven-letter word, RESTORE, signifies PERFECTION in all that God has promised to do in the year 2021. 

The prophecy of God to His children is a covenant. A covenant is a two-way pact, an agreement between two parties. God, in His infinite mercy and supremacy, has considered us worthy of His grace to RESTORE unto us all the good things we have lost in all dimensions. It is now on us to do our own part so as to activate this prophecy upon our lives and situation. Like the children of Israel, it is on us to approach God with the spirit of faith, true repentance, humility and obedience to His word- in worship with our substance, our spirit, soul and body, in prayer and fasting, in doing all things ‘as to the LORD and not  unto men’. Col.3:23. Your disposition toward God and His word, your walk with Him in spirit and in truth, and your faithfulness in all that concern His kingdom, are a necessary key to opening the door of restoration, in the year 2021. Proverbs 11:24-25, Luke 7:1-10.

Let Us Pray: As you walk with the LORD in the journey of this year, you will not stray away from His presence, your labour shall be rewarded, you will not labour in vain, no weapon formed against your life shall prosper; you will continue to walk in the paths of safety and in the paths of God’s righteousness. Where you have sown in tears, go and reap in abundant joy (Psalm126:1-6). All the spiritual gifts that you have lost are restored back to you. All wasted efforts are translated into unlimited breakthrough. All disappointments are translated into re-appointment for diverse miracles. Your health is restored, your marriage is restored, your business is restored, all the good opportunities that you have lost are restored back to you in multiple fold, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
