Prophetic Prayer For The Month of June (Starting, Thursday 1st of June, 2023)

 Theme: DIVINE VISITATION

Text: John 1:14, Acts 4:31, 2:1-21, Luke 1:26-54, John 5:1-9, 2Chron.20:22-23.

EXHORTATION

Glory to God Almighty! All thanks to our heavenly Father for always making us triumph in Christ Jesus. He is good and His mercy endures forever (Psalm 136:1-26). Alleluiyah! Last month, the LORD gave us a sure prophecy on the theme: Dew of Heaven. No doubt He has not only started a great thing in this regard; our God shall also accomplish His good will and our testimonies shall know no bound, in Jesus' Name. This month, the LORD has promised us DIVINE VISITATION. When God promises, He does not play around with His words, He means every bit of it, for His glory and honour.

What is Divine Visitation? 

Divine Visitation is the supernatural encounter through the Presence and Power of Almighty God coming down into the affairs of men (on earth) for miraculous manifestations. It is God's kingdom coming down into the affairs of men for His glory and honour. His kingdom signifies His power, His authority, His glory, magnanimity and honour. - Daniel 3:20-30, Daniel 6, Jeremiah 32:27, 17, Isaiah 9:6-7. Anointing is a form of divine visitation, which brings power for exploits. -Isaiah 61:1-10.

When God visits any situation, He proves His power and supremacy over all the battles of our lives by ensuring our permanent victory. Divine visitation is when God comes down to deal with our persistent, stubborn situations and change things to work in our favour  -Exodus 3:7-8. It is when God brings good news and relief that calm us down from all our anxieties with re-assurance. -Psalm 85:7-13, Exodus 3:7-17.

Divine Visitation leads to Supernatural Manifestations that register diverse testimonies in the lives of God's people - Acts 2:1-21, Acts 3:1-10, Acts 12:5-12, Acts16:16-30. Divine Visitation often translate into salvation, deliverance, healing, joy, peace, blessings, transformation, redemption, restoration, etc. (Gen. 21: 1-2, Jeremiah 27:22; Matt. 21: 10-17).

Divine Visitation was the kind of visitation experienced by Hannah, when she was being mocked for her childlessness. It was the kind experienced by Sarah/Abraham, Mary/Joseph and Elizabeth/John; God did not only hearken to their cries but also turned their sorrows into joy (Psalm 30:5, Genesis 18:1-15, Luke 1:5-15, 26-37). It was the kind of visitation experienced by the three Hebrews when the Son of God visited them in the fiery furnace of Babylon (Daniel 3:19-30). It was the kind experienced by Daniel in the den of lions, when God visited him with supernatural deliverance by shutting the mouths of the lions (Daniel 6:13-24). It was the kind experienced by Peter, Paul and Silas in the prison. Whatever you might be passing through now, the Almighty God shall visit you in that situation for His glory, in Jesus' Name.  It was the kind of visitation experienced by Blind Bartimeus when he received his sight miraculously. Indeed the kind experienced by the man who had been waiting for his healing for thirty-eight years at the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1-9). 

Lazarus rose from the dead back to life, by divine visitation. The woman of Zarephath, and the woman of Shunnem also experienced divine visitation (1Kings 17:10-16, 2Kings 4:8-17). All these witnessed the supernatural acts of God when they had divine visitation from God. When the Ark of God got to the house of Obed Edom, he experienced Divine Visitation which translated into supernatural blessings to the amazement of all people. 2Samuel 6:10-15. The woman who had suffered haemorrhage for twelve years experienced Divine Visitation by just touching the helm of Jesus' garment. The dead daughter of a Jewish ruler came back to life when Jesus visited his house. Blind men received their sight when they attracted Jesus Christ with their faith -Matthew 9:18-30

It is worthy of note here that, everyone who had an encounter with Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry also experienced divine visitation which led to their testimonies. The heart-cry of the Psalmist always bothered on divine visitation because he understood this mystery. -Psalm 80:1-14.

CONDITIONS FOR DIVINE VISITATION

 To experience this Divine Visitation, we have a part to play. This includes: 

1. Faith in His unfailing word. Do not walk by sight; see beyond the physical.  Hebrews 11:1-6, James1:5-8.

2. Abstinence from sin and its appearance,  Psalm 66:18, Isaiah 55:6-13.

3. You must thirst and hunger for His visitation -Psalm 84:1-4, 10-12, Matthew 5:6.

4. Have a forgiving spirit.  Matthew 6:14-15.

5. Prepare your heart to receive instructions from God, Hosea 10:12, Psalm 85:6-8, Revelation 3:20.

6. Positive disposition to prayer, obedience and readiness to take decisive actions based on the visitation. This was the case of the woman of Zarephath in which God visited her through prophet Elijah -Psalm 85:6-8, 1Kings 17:10-16.

7. Tarry in Prayer with fasting until you witness divine visitation, Luke 24:49, Hosea 10:12, Esther 4:15-17, Jeremiah 33:3, Matthew 7:7-11.

8. Offer quality sacrifice of freewill, praises and thanksgiving to God before, during and after the visitation. Abel did this, and Abraham too. Psalm 50:9-15, Genesis 4:1-7, Acts 16:25-26.  Abraham' s offering to God re-established the divine visitation he experienced. Genesis 18:1-14. King Solomon's love for God made him offer bountiful sacrifice which attracted God's attention. 1Kings 3:3-13.

9. Learn from the scriptures about divine visitation of God upon His people. Learn also from past testimonies and encounters- 1Samuel 17:32-37, Romans 15:4.

10. Hospitality: Abraham was hospitable to angels; this re-established and hastened the fulfilment of God's covenant of fruitfulness in his life/marriage. Genesis 18:1-10, Hebrews 13:2.

11. Maintain positive confession in all situations. What you say will eventually come to pass. Habakkuk 3:17-19, Numb.14:28, Matthew 12:37

Here is God's invitation to everyone that cares about His divine visitation: "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" -Revelation 3:20. The LORD is always close by, willing to appear at the scene of our challenges but we need to open the door of our heart and walk with Him in agreement and obedience. We know that "the    Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" -2 Corinthians 3:17. 

RESULTS OF DIVINE VISITATION

When God visits you, the following are bound to happen:

1. His Spirit comes to help your weaknesses (Acts 2:1-4, Rom 8:26)

2. There is willingness to do His will and please Him more. -Psalm 110:3.

3. The Word of God becomes flesh and dwell with us in every situation. That is, His word will be at work and we will see the reality of it in our lives. -John 1:14, Genesis 18:9-14, 21:1-6.

4. Long time problems are resolved, with healing and deliverance. -John 5:1-11, Luke 8:43-48.

5. God accepts your offerings and  answer prayers by fire! Long term prophecies receive speedy fulfilment. This happened in the case of Abraham and Elijah.  1Kings18:36-39, Genesis 18:9-14, Luke 1:5-13, 14-17.

6. Reproaches are removed and sorrows are turned into fullness of joy. Luke 1:14, Genesis 21:1-6, 18:9-14, Psalm 30:5, 16:11.

7. Destinies are healed and transformed. 1Chron.4:9-10, 

8. Favour is released from heaven. Luke 1:28-30.

9. There is supernatural guidance in the paths of peace. Luke 1:78-79.

10. The Sun of God's righteousness    arise with healing in his wings; all-round fruitfulness. -Malachi 4:2.

11. The LORD comes into your situation to fight your battle and give you supernatural victory over the enemy. -  2Chron.20:14-24, Malachi 4:2-3.

12. The LORD becomes more interested in your situation to change it for His glory. This was the case of the Shunnamite woman; She hosted and entertained the prophet of God (Elisha) and God visited her. -2Kings 4:8-17.

13. God revives every dead situation back to life. 2kings 4:18-37, John 11:35-44. This happened when God visited the Shunnamite woman through prophet Elisha and when Jesus visited the family of Lazarus.

14. Long time prophecies are quickened to reality. Genesis 17:1-6, 18:9-14, 21:1-6. 

15. Supernatural wisdom is released for exploits. When God visited Solomon, he was blessed with supernatural wisdom and wealth. 1Kings 3:5-13.

16. Immediate testimony. John 11:35-44.

17. Hopeless situations are rescued by the mighty power of God. 2Kings 4:1-7.

18. Supernatural Blessings. This was evident in the life of Obededom  2Samuel 6:10-15

This month, by His grace and the name that's above all other names, every edifying word or prophecy spoken about you, shall be visited with supernatural testimonies, in Jesus' name. 

Remember, with Jesus Christ, Victory is always sure.

PROPHETIC PRAYER POINTS

1. Give thanks to God for the past five months of the year.

2. Glorify God for the great things He has in stock for us in the remaining parts of the year. 1Corinth.2:9.

3. Ask for forgiveness and pardon for your sins. Proverbs 28:13.

4. Merciful Father, let your mercy  speak for me, throughout this month and this year, in Jesus' Name.  Romans 9:15-16, Exodus 15:13.

5. By Divine Visitation, let the light of God shine upon my Spirit, Soul and Body, in Jesus' Name.   John 1:1-5,  Revelation 3:20.

6. By Divine Visitation, I receive strength for all-round breakthrough, in Jesus' Name. (Acts 2:1-4, Rom 8:26, Philip.4:13).

7. Heavenly Father, let Your word become "Flesh" for undeniable testimonies in my life, in Jesus' Name (John 1:14, Jeremiah 32:17, 27, Genesis 17:1-6, 18:9-14, Genesis 21:1-6).

8. Almighty Father, by Divine Visitation, settle every situation that defies human solution in my life, in Jesus' Name (Jeremiah 32:17, 27, Matthew 9:20-22).

9. Every sickness in my spirit, soul and body, that has taken my life captive; I receive my healing and deliverance from them NOW, in Jesus' Name (John 5:1-11, Luke 8:43-48).

10. Angel of Good News that visited Mary in the sixth month, visit me this month for all-round testimonies, to the glory of God, in Jesus' name. Luke 1:26-38, Isaiah 65:24, John 14:13-14.

11. By Divine Visitation, let every reproach be removed and sorrows turned into joy in my life, in Jesus' Name. Luke 1:14, Genesis 21:1-6, 18:9-14, Psalm 30:5, 16:11.

12. By Divine Visitation, LORD destroy every wrong foundation and rebuild my destiny, in  Jesus' Name. (1Chronicles 4:9, Psalm 11:3).

13. Holy Spirit of God, release the breath of life upon me, for all-round revival and breakthrough, in Jesus' Name.  -Acts 2:1-4, Ezekiel 37:8-10.

14. Almighty God, let your sun of righteousness rise upon me with healing and deliverance, in Jesus' Name.  -Malachi 4:2.

15. By Divine Visitation, LORD guide me in the paths of peace and safety, in Jesus' Name. -Luke 1:78-79, Psalm 23:1-4, Isaiah 43:1-2.

16. Heavenly Father, by Divine Visitation, let Your goodness and mercy follow me this month and this year, in Jesus' Name. -Psalm 23:5-6.

17. Almighty God, come into my situation, fight my battles and give me supernatural victory, in Jesus' Name. -2Chron.20:14-24, Malachi 4:2-3.

18. My Father and my God, arrange the divine visitation that will change my story for your glory, in Jesus' Name- 2Kings 4:8-17.

19. By Divine Visitation, God revive every dead glory in my life (back to life), in Jesus' Name. 2kings 4:18-37, John 11:35-44, Ezekiel 37:1-12.

20. Almighty Father, I receive supernatural blessings by Divine Visitation, in Jesus' Name -2Samuel 6:10-15.

21. Angel of my destiny, visit me this month and awaken my sleeping glory, in Jesus' Name.  -Acts 12:5-12.

22. Almighty God, visit me in the spiritual prison where I have been constrained, and deliver me for Your glory, in Jesus' Name. -Acts 12:5-12, 16:16-30.

23. Jesus Christ the Great Physician: come into my situation and heal my land, in Jesus' Name. 2Chron.7:14, Matthew 9:23-26.

24. Heavenly Father, whatever is competing with Your glory in my life, unseat them and dominate my life with Your glory, in Jesus' Name.  -Isaiah 42:8.

25. Every glorious prophecy dragging in my life, be quickened to fulfillment, in Jesus' Name. Isaiah 9:6-7, 37:32.

26. Whatever is not of God in my life, be rooted up and consumed by fire, in Jesus' Name. Hebrews 12:29, Matthew 15:13.

27. Every enemy that is positioned on  assignments against my life, be consumed by the fire of God, in Jesus' Name. -Psalm 97:3-6.

28. Almighty God, wherever I have been displaced and carried away captive from my glorious position, visit me with deliverance and restoration, in Jesus' Name. - Jeremiah 27:22.

29. Almighty Father, release upon me supernatural wisdom for exploits, in Jesus' Name -1Kings 3:5-13, Proverbs 4:5-9.

30. Every ganging up against my life and destiny, scatter by fire, in Jesus' Name  -Isaiah 54:15-17.

31. Host of Heaven, surround me and fight every unseen /unknown battle in my life, in Jesus' Name -2Kings 6:15-18, Psalm 125:1-2.

32. Gracious Father, visit me with divine favour in every area of my life, in Jesus' Name. -Luke 1:28-30.

33. My Father and my God, I cancel every satanic appointment with sicknesses, bad luck, evil covenants and death, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. -Colossians 2:14-15, Isaiah 54:17.

34. God that answereth by fire, let my prayers translate into testimonies, by Divine Speed, in Jesus' Name.  (1Kings18:36-39).

35. Worship God and sing praises to Him from the depth of your heart, for answered prayers.  

Prophetic Prayer For the Month of May (Starting, Monday 1st of May 2023)

 

Theme: DEW OF HEAVEN

Text: Genesis 27:28-29,  Exodus 16:14-31,    Deuteronomy 33:13-17, 28, Psalm133:3, Hosea 14:1-9,  Hagai 1:1-11,   Zechariah 8:12-13              

Exhortation

Glory to God Almighty for His abiding presence with us and the victory over every challenge all the way. The Power of Resurrection is forever alive and will continue to answer for us in every dimensions of our lives in Jesus' Name (Amen). Thanks be unto God for all He has been doing since the beginning of this year. Our testimonies know no bounds; they are unlimited because the LORD's mercy endures forever. No doubt, we shall witness even more of His goodness this month.

"Except the LORD builds the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain" -Psalms 127:1.

This month, the LORD has given us the theme "Dew of Heaven". The Dew of Heaven has a deep spiritual meaning and it symbolizes certain mysteries in God's own definition. The "Dew of Heaven" symbolizes all-season and all-round blessings. Dews are not as much as the rain by volume, but they are far more powerful. They can not be restricted to any time or season of the year, unlike the rain. No force of nature can stop them. This is the spiritual implication of the "Dew of Heaven". We shall examine more of these below, in the light of the scriptures.

WHAT IS THE DEW OF HEAVEN?

1) The Dew of Heaven is the supernatural grace (of God) upon our efforts (our work, our pursuits, our intentions and all we lay our hands upon to do - Psalm 127:1, Proverbs 10:22, 1Corinth 15:10.

2) The Dew of Heaven symbolizes the anointing or supernatural force of the Holy Spirit that takes us far beyond our human strength. That is, the Dew helps us to achieve feats that are beyond mere human capacity. Zech.4:6-9. Psalm 23:5-6 says, "...Thou Anointest My Head With Oil; my cup runneth over". Note that the statement "MY CUP RUNNETH OVER". means "beyond my personal strength or ability or expectation..."

3) The Dew of Heaven symbolizes supernatural force or anointing from God, for success, healing, deliverance, breakthrough, etc. The Scripture says: "For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I WILL CAUSE the remnant of this people to possess all these things" -Zechariah 8:12 [I WILL CAUSE means "I will enable"]. This is why Paul says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me". In Romans 8:26, he says, "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities..." Isaiah 40:29-31 also says "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength...But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint".

4) It Is The Symbol Of All-round And All Seasons Fruitfulness Upon God's Children. This is because even though the dew may be small in volume compared to the rain, it is more powerful than rain. The rain is only permitted to come down during rainy season but the dew comes upon the earth all seasons - rainy season, dry season, harmattan, etc. This is the supremacy of the dew over the rain. Little wonder, Isaac blessed Jacob with the dew by saying, "Therefore God give thee of t 11he dew of heaven, and THE FATNESS OF THE EARTH, and PLENTY OF CORN AND WINE" -Genesis 27:28 [Fruitfulness Emphasized here].

God wants to release His dew (His unction) upon all our efforts and bless all that concern us. He has opened the door of breakthrough and testimonies by the release of supernatural dew and the unction for all-round fruitfulness. Nothing can stop it, except careless and faithless attitudes to this sure prophecy. This is what God has prepared for His children this month, and shall be our lot throughout this year, in Jesus' Name.

The "Dew of Heaven" was the dew released upon Jacob to give him "the fatness of the field" (Genesis 27:28-29). It was the dew that rained "manna" for the Israelites (Exodus 16:14-31). It was the dew that brought all-round prosperity upon God's people (the Israelites) as prophesied through Zechariah (Zechariah 8:12). This "Dew of Heaven" is evergreen. It is God's reward for those that diligently seek Him in faith (Hebrews 11:6).

Because of the release of the "Dew of Heaven", no forces can limit our breakthrough and no demonic power shall be able to attack our blessings (Proverbs 10:22). However, for us to be rightly positioned for the "Dew of Heaven" and key into it, we have a part to play. This includes:  

(i) Walk with God in faith and agreement, believing that what He has said, He will also do (Hebrews 11:1-2, 6, Numbers 23:19-20, Exodus 16:23-30, 2Corinthians 1:20).

(ii) Obedience to God (Isaiah 1:19, Deuteronomy 28:13).

(iii) Pay your tithes; do not rob God (Malachi 3:8-12)

(iv) Seek & Serve God diligently (Hebrews 11:6, Deuteronomy 28:1, Joshua 22:5, 2Peter 1:5, Romans 12:8).

(v) Do your work/business diligently (Proverbs 4:23, Proverbs 10:4, 12:24, 13:4, 21:5).

(vi) Seek divine wisdom (Exodus 31:1-6, 35:26-35, Proverbs 3:13, 19, 4:7).

(vii) Avoid dubious attitudes and dealings; take on the righteousness of God in all you do (Proverbs 14:34, Psalm 89:16).

(viii) Engage jealously and tenaciously in God's kingdom projects (Proverbs 11:24-28, Haggai 1:1-11).

Paying attention to all the above helps us to key into this Prophetic Declaration. As we connect in prayer with the throne of grace  this month, there shall be a supernatural release of the "Dew of Heaven" upon us and all that pertain to us, in Jesus' Name (Amen).

Remember, with Jesus Christ, Victory is Sure!

6. Almighty God, deliver me from every curse, that places a siege and limitation upon my life, in Jesus' Name - Zechariah 8:13, 1Chronicles 4:9-10.

7. Almighty God save me from every power that has made my life a curse; make me a blessing, in Jesus' Name - Zechariah 8:13.

8. Heavenly Father, by the dew of heaven, I receive strength and courage to prosper, in Jesus' Name -Zechariah 8:13.

9. Unction for fruitfulness, come upon every good seed that I have sown and the ones I sow this year, in Jesus' Name - Zechariah 8:12, Psalm 23:5-6.

10. O land, and the ground upon which I stand, yield your increase unto me, by the Dew of Heaven, in Jesus' Name -Zechariah 8:12, Psalm 24:1-10.

11. Gracious Father, release the "Dew of Heaven" upon my spiritual life for supernatural revival, in Jesus' Name -Psalm 23:5-6, Psalm 85:6-13.

12. Heavenly Father, release Thy "Dew of Heaven" upon me, for bountiful harvest, in Jesus' Name -Genesis 27 :28.

13. Fatness of the earth, locate me this month, in Jesus' Name -Genesis 27:28.

14. Heavenly Father, bless those who have been ordained to bless me, in every area of their lives, in Jesus' Name -Genesis 12:3, 27:29.

15. Almighty God, release the "Dew Of Heaven", upon the church, for supernatural  revival, in Jesus' Name -Acts 2:41-47, Matthew 16:15-19.

16. My Heavenly Father, curse every agent that has been contracted to curse me, in Jesus' Name -Genesis 12:3, 27:29.

17. By the "Dew of Heaven", I enter into the realm of divine provision, in Jesus' Name -Exodus 16:13-15, Proverbs 10:22.

18. I possess every precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and those put forth by the moon, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ -Deuteronomy 33:14.

19. "Dew of Heaven", come upon my marriage, my family, my business and my entire household, in Jesus' Name -Deuter.28:1-13.

20. Heavenly Father, grant me divine protection, safety, sound health and longevity, to enjoy the fruits of my labour, in Jesus' Mighty Name - Psalm 91:1-16, Isaiah 65:20, Deuteronomy 33:28.

21. Gracious Father, lead me from where I am and place me in the land of abundance, in Jesus' Name -Deuter. 33:28, Gen.26:1-4, 12-16, Isaiah 65:21-23.

22. Almighty Father, let my heavens drop down dew, for all-round breakthrough, in Jesus' Name -Deutero.33:28.

23. Almighty God, curse every satanic agent that has made covenant to curse my blessings, in Jesus' Name. -Genesis 12:3.

24. All secret agenda and conspiracies fashioned against my blessings, scatter by fire, in Jesus' Name. -Hebrews 12:29, Isaiah 54:15-17.

25. "Dew of Heaven", come upon my blessings and remove every mark of sorrow, in Jesus' Name -Psalm 97:1-6.

26. "Dew of Heaven", come upon everything within and around me; cause them to be for my blessings, in Jesus' Name -Proverbs 16:7-9.

27. "Dew of Heaven", come upon our land, our nation, for all-round fruitfulness, in Jesus' Name. -Psalm133:3, Psalm122:6.

28. Gracious Father, by the "Dew of Heaven", crown this month (and this year) with goodness and let my paths be filled with fatness, in Jesus' Name -Psalm 65:11.

29. Father, let my pastures be covered with flocks, and my valleys with corn, with shouts of joy, in Jesus' Name -Psalm 65:13.

30. "Dew of Heaven", come upon the church for supernatural growth and development, in Jesus' Name -Acts 2:41-47.

31. Almighty Father, release upon me the dew of healing, dew of peace, dew of deliverance, dew of breakthrough, dew of favour, dew of blessing, ...in Jesus' Name. -Genesis 27:28-29.

32. Worship God, glorify Him and sing praises to Him, for assurance of answered prayers -Isaiah 65:24, Matthew 7:7-11.

PROPHETIC PRAYER FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL (Starting, Saturday 1st of April), 2023.

Topic: POWER OF RESURRECTION

Text: Philip.3:10-12, Ezekiel 37:1-14, 1Corinth.6:14, John 11:25-26.

EXHORTATION

Brethren, welcome to another month of God's unusual mercy and supernatural intervention in our country and every area of our lives. We thank the Almighty for His faithfulness that never fails. We appreciate the God of peace for continually quelling the wind of troubles besetting our land. Jehovah Shalom is His name. He alone deserves all the glory and honour forevermore (Amen). 

This month, the LORD has directed that we pray on the theme: POWER OF RESURRECTION. By this, God is set to do great things this season. History shall undoubtedly repeat itself as the Power of Resurrection causes a dynamic change, in different areas of our lives, in Jesus' name. Dry bones shall live again! Your valleys shall be exalted and every mountain of difficulty shall be surmounted. It is a season of unpredictable testimonies, for you and all that is yours, in Jesus' Name.

Theme: JEHOVAH SHALOM: GOD OUR PEACE.

Text: Isaiah 26:12, John 14:27,  Psalm 29:11, 85:7-9, Judges 6:24.

EXHORTATION

"Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place"- 2 Corinthians 2:14.

Glory to God Almighty, the Father of all goodness, for His mercy that endures forever. Our country, the Christendom as well as individuals, have been going through trials of faith in recent time, but in the midst of all these, we boldly say by His grace: "We are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour". He will never leave nor forsake us. Our strength is small, neither do we have any power of our own to triumph but His grace shall continue to speak for our all-round Victory. Alleluiyah!

This month, God has again given us a Spiritual Compass to follow. He Himself is coming to the scene of every situation in our land. He has directed us to pray on the theme: JEHOVAH SHALOM: GOD OUR PEACE. As we launch into this realm of prayer this month, the peace of God that's beyond all understanding, shall take over every area of our lives, in Jesus' Name (Amen) - Philip.4:7.

THEME: THE NEW GLORY

Text: Isaiah 43:18-20, Isaiah 60:1-2, 1Corinthians 2:9.

INTRODUCTION

Our God has promised us a NEW GLORY this month. It is a NEW GLORY because it is another dimension of what God is set to do for His children, for His honour and glory. Haggai 2:6-8  says: "For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I Will SHAKE THE HEAVENS, AND THE EARTH…I WILL FILL THIS HOUSE WITH GLORY, saith the LORD of hosts. The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, saith the LORD of hosts.”  

1. WHAT IS NEW GLORY?

To answer this pertinent question we shall examine the following Scriptures:

1Corinthians 2:9  says 

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him".

Isaiah 43:18-21 says: 

"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I WILL DO A NEW THING; NOW IT SHALL SPRING FORTH; SHALL YE NOT KNOW IT? I WILL EVEN MAKE A WAY IN THE WILDERNESS, AND RIVERS IN THE DESERT.

The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.  This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

Isaiah 60:1 says:

ARISE, SHINE; FOR THY LIGHT IS COME, AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD IS RISEN UPON THEE.

Now, What is the NEW GLORY?

From these references, it is evident that, The New Glory comprises all the New Things that God has ordained & planned for His children in different areas of their lives, which will beautify our lives and make us "New Persons" fearfully and wonderfully graced (Psalm 139:14). It is the force of divine intervention that translates your past failures into success, past disappointment into re-appointment, past troubles & concerns into supernatural breakthroughs, so that His name alone Will be glorious in your life and glorified in all your situations. 

According to our text (Isa 43:18-20) there must have been"the Former Things", "the Old stories", that are not palatable OR Testimonies that have not manifested in their fullness. It is OLD GLORY if your achievements are limited. It is OLD GLORY if you were once successful but now you seem to be stagnated by certain forces. It is OLD GLORY if you were once excellent and vibrant, with a glorious vision, but now you are complacent and lethargic to pursue those visions and aspirations to a meaningful ends.

2. IT IS GOD'S WILL TO LAUNCH YOU INTO A NEW WAVE OF GLORY. 

Isaiah 60:1 says 

"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee". 

The following things are worthy of consideration under this:

 (I) It is a command from God to "ARISE! SHINE!!"

(II) The statement "ARISE! SHINE!!" means there is the probability that some people (among God's children) could be resting or complacent sleeping in the comfort zone, not striving for improvement. Hence God commands them to ARISE! SHINE!!"

(III) It is a clarion call that reveals God's mind  to His children that God is always interested in their Progress, that they can always move to new, higher levels of glory in the train of progress; hence He commands "ARISE! SHINE!!" in the realm of New Glory.

(IV) Still in that Isa.60:1, the prophecy says: FOR THY LIGHT IS COME,.. This means, being the light of the world (according to Matthew 5:14 which says "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hidden"), the provision for you to attain a NEW GLORY has been made by God, which is why you don't have any reason to remain stagnant or complacent. There is always provision for newer glory.

(V) The last part of that verse (Isaiah 60:1) says: 

AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD IS RISEN UPON THEE. That is the NEW GLORY God has prepared for you. It is very important to stress here that, no one can estimate the the measure of the New Glory God has prepared for you - 

1Corinthians 2:9  "But as it is written, EYE HATH NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NEITHER HAVE ENTERED into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him". 

*Spiritual Exercise/PRAYER: THE  NEW GLORY THAT GOD HAS ORDAINED FOR ME IN LIFE, I LAUNCH INTO IT IN JESUS' NAME. I SHALL NOT MISS IT, IJN. 

Remember, with Jesus Christ in our journey, Victory is Sure...and indeed, the New Glory is sure for us.

Theme: NEW GLORY
Text: Psalm3:3, Isaiah 60:1-22, Isaiah 43:18-20, Zech.2:5, Psalm 84:11.

EXHORTATION

Praise ye the LORD! Alleluiyah!

Glory to our heavenly Father, the Giver of life and the Lifter-up of our head against every attempt of the enemy that was against us all through our journey last year (Psalm 3:3).  The journey was quite rough and  challenging but by His grace, we triumphed over every manipulation of the enemy. The enemy strove against us but God gave us resounding victory. Indeed, we are "More Than Conquerors" through Christ our Lord and Saviour (Amen) - Romans 8:3, Proverbs 21 been to :31, 1Corinthians15:57.

I am fully persuaded that God's mighty presence is with us. He has declared that we move from Victory to Victory in the year 2023. This is my earnest desire and prayer for His people (the church) and the country at large. In the light of this,  God is leading us to pray this month on the theme: A NEW GLORY (Isaiah 60:1-22). 

However, for us to walk in the reality of this glory, the Psalmist counsels us in Psalms 84:11 to walk uprightly before God, in all our  endeavours. Let us trust in Him for perfection of all our efforts and pursuits. No achievement is meaningful without Him. As we jointly pray in unity of faith this month, a new wave of glory shall glow, and rise upon every area of our lives with wonderful testimonies following, in Jesus' Name. 

Remember, with Jesus Christ, Victory is Sure!

Theme: THE MINISTRY OF INTERCESSION

Text: Ezek.22:30, John15:16, 1Tim.2:1-6, Isa.59:16, 62:6, 63:5.

1) WHAT IS INTERCESSION?

*INTERCESSION means The act of intervening or mediating between two parties.In other words, it is a prayer to God on behalf of another person or other people. The ministry of intercession is very important to God. INTERCESSORS are God's children who "stand in the Gap" for others (Christians or unbelievers, with or without their knowledge. God wants us to be intercessors in different dimensions (Ezek.22:30, Matt.5:44). He is always looking for intercessors. 

2) EXAMPLES OF INTERCESSORS 

i. The Holy Spirit (Rom.8:26).           ii. Jesus Christ is the Chief intercessor (Isa.53:12, Jn14:16-17, Rom.8:34, 1Jn2:1-2, Heb.7:24-25)

iii. Abraham -Gen.18:22-33.

iv. Paul the Apostle - 1Thess.1:2, Gal.4:19

Paul admonishes all Christians to intercede for the saints (Ephes.6:18).

v. Moses.  Numb.12:1-13

vi. Prophet Jeremiah -Jer.7:16, 11:14, 14:11

3) SPIRITUAL OBLIGATIONS OF INTERCESSORS 

i. They pray for people or on behalf of people, with / or without their knowledge. 1Thess.1:2, Gal.4:19

ii. They meditate or plead for other persons.  Heb.7:24-25, Gen.18:22-33

iii. They intercept or stop the enemy’s plan in other people's lives.  

Luke 22:31-32.

iv. They make attempts to deliver the souls from satanic bondage, so that such souls may not go into eternal hell. Rom.9:2-3, Gal.4:19, 1Tim.2:1-4, Gen.18:22-33. This is what I call "Prayer Evangelism". 

Jesus commands that we should ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest field” (Luke 10:2). This prayer concerns the “harvest field” of evangelism in the world. It is a prayer that people will be saved and God will be glorified. The Church, especially ministers are obligated to engage in this type of intercession daily.
